a most wonderful review of all (?) of Michigan's public beaches on Lake Superior. It's a great read. And yes, my favorites are all represented: Presque Ile River, Union Bay, the aforementioned Miner's Beach, and the beauteous Au Train Beach. In fact, I've been to most of the beaches listed, and I've never even lived in the U.P. But then, I AM a Yooper Girl. Here's the link:
