As promised, albeit a few days late, I'm going to post the same image every Sunday for however long I feel like doing it so we can see it change. This is the scene:
I call it Rapunzel's tower; it's the silo just down the road from our house. It's on the way to Case Road, a walk I've taken for years, first with Guy and now with Rochester. I've written a number of poems with that tower as my theme, although the only one I really like is a Christmas ghazal, as I recall. I'll find it and polish it up before posting it.
The picture above was taken on August 10.
I love this idea and look forward to watching summer turn to fall and fall turn to winter and winter turn to spring...
