The post holes were inspected & approved. YAY. Mark took Thursday off & he & Tony poured cement in them. Or something. It involved a cement mixer! How cool!!!

Lovely walk
A beautiful evening. No Rapunzel tonight, but a road picture for our enjoyment.
The light was all sideways and golden, the birds were deafening, and the deer were jumping.
We have many months of Rapunzel left, but I think I've decided on my next subject.
It will be revealed in time!
Deck has been started!
Post holes!!! They need to be inspected, which should happen this week. Then comes the concrete. That will need to sit for a bit, which works out well since Mark is going on his golf trip at that point. When he gets back building will commence if it hasn't already! YAY!

Dark and gloomy March day
This was taken Sunday. We did have sunshine this morning, which was very nice. 60 on Wednesday is predicted! I look forward to not bundling up on our walk.
Baseball!
Mark got me a Detroit Tigers Paws Pillow Pet for Valentine's Day. There's no present I could have wanted more! And yes, it stays on the bed! It's a pillow pet!
Last Wednesday, the first day the new MLB At Bat app for iPhone/iPad was released, there I was first thing in the morning, downloading it. Today was the first "official" spring training game for our ballclub (they won). I was sitting with coffee at 1:05 pm, iPad fired up, ready for the dulcet tones of Dan & Jim. This was after spending several hours in the virtual waiting room at Tigers.com. Single game tickets went on sale today! Demand is high! I purchased tickets for the game in April I wanted, & that will do for now.
Such happiness.
